At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, December 18, 2017, Mrs. Jeanne Albert of St-Leonard-Parent passed away at the age of 99 years. She was the widow of Willie Albert. Born at St-Donat-de-Rimouski, Quebec in 1918, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alphonsine (Gagnon) Turcotte.
She is survived by five children, Marthe Goguen (late Jules) of Varenne, Quebec, Georgette Simard (Gerald) of Boucherville, Quebec, Georgianne Fortin (Rejean) of Laval, Quebec, Yvette Nadeau (Normand) of Montreal and Jean-Louis (Mona) of St-Leonard-Parent, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three sisters, Rose-Aimee Querry (late Charles), Alice Levesque (late Yvon) and Eva Turcotte, all of Saint-Quentin, two brothers, Armand (Therese) of Saint-Quentin and Aurele of Campbellton, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Eugenie Lebel (late Aime), six brothers, Philippe, Isidore, Lorenzo, Fred, Leonard and Albert Turcotte.
Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours on Friday, December 22nd from 2 to 3:45 p.m.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, December 22nd at 4 p.m. from the St-Antoine-de-Padoue Roman Catholic Church, St-Leonard-Parent with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
