At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 7, 2018, Mr. Emile Caron of Drummond passed away at the age of 78 years. He was married to the former Jacinthe Rossignol. Born at Grand Falls in 1939, he was a son of the late Alcide and Yvonne (Theriault) Caron.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Caron worked 31 years for Roger C. Ouellette Ltd.
He is survived by his wife, five sons, Marco (Chantal) of Saint-Leonard, Dario (Susie) and Paulo of Saint-Andre, Bruno and Yvano (Tammy) of Drummond, four grandchildren, Kim, Karl, Jeannot and Mily, two brothers, Real (late Doreen) and Henri (late Chantal) of Montreal, six sisters, Marie-May Murchison (Preston), Edna Godbout (late Joyime) and Agathe Powers (late Stillman) of Grand Falls, Jeannine Desrosiers (late Real Page & late Raymond Desrosiers) of Saint-Andre, Wilda Bernier (Roger) of Drummond and Marie-Luce Dube (Rene) of Grand Falls, sister-in-law, Ghislaine (late Marius) of Saint-Quentin, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Victorin and Marius.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m.
His funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11th at 4 p.m. from the St-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
