Marie-Mai Moreau

At her residence, Foyer Jacinthe Special Care Home of Grand Falls, January 22, 2018, Mrs. Marie-Moreau passed away at the age of 84 years.  She was the widow of Archille Moreau by first marriage and of Real W. Michaud by second marriage.  Born at Saint-Andre in 1933, she was a daughter of the late Alex D. and Marie-Anne "Anna" (Langlais) Pelletier.

Mrs. Moreau was a member of the Saint-Andre Daughters of Isabella, a member of the parish choir for 45 years and was a member of the parish pastoral committee, a member and Past President of the Villa Saint-Andre committee and a volunteer of the Grand Falls Manor (Falls Villa) for several years.

She is survived by eight children, Annette (Charles LeBlanc) of Grand Falls, France (Jean-Eudes Pelletier) of New Denmark, Denis (Chantal Landry) of Grande-Anse, Murielle (Wayne Parent) of Drummond, Gilles of Brampton, Ontario, Jean-Louis (Carole Levesque) of Grand Falls, Mario (Florence Lajeunesse) and Luc (Rachel Dube) of Drummond, 35 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, three sisters, Victorine Collin of Grand Falls, Dorothy Thibodeau of Florida and Huguette Dube of Grand Falls, one brother, Guildard Pelletier (Alvine) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Moreau family, Imelda Geraghty (Bill), Euclide Moreau (Adrienne), Jean-Guy Moreau, Noella Moreau and Evelyne Plourde.  She is also survived by the children of her second husband, Jean-Guy, Francine, Olivette, Laurel "Bahou",  Luc Michaud and Berthe Thibodeau, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by siblings, Joseph Pelletier, Imelda Roach, Enoil Pelletier, Corinne Pelletier, Anita Pelletier, Noella Fraser, Ephrem "Bee" Pelletier, Rosario Pelletier and Irenee Pelletier.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.  Daughters of Isabella will meet for prayers Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 27th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  For those who wish, donations to her family who will be doing something special in her memory would be appreciated.
