At his residence, February 7, 2018, Mr. Gilman Michaud of Grand Falls passed away unexpectedly at the age of 78 years. He was the widower of Cecile Michaud. Born at Grand Falls in 1940, he was a son of the late Eloi "Ti-Cor" and Yvonne (Fournier) Michaud.
Before his retirement, Gilman worked several years at Grand Falls Industries Ltd.
He is survived by three children, Steven (Marise) of Drummond, Sandra (Leopold Pare) of Grand Falls and Carol (Paul Moreau) of St-Andre, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, six sisters, Geneva Daugherty (Kenneth) of Grandbury, Texas, Gloria St-Amand (late Arthelin) of Chicago, Illinois, Noella Michaud of Madawaska, Maine, Pauline Welker (Ray) of Newark, Delaware, Barbara Guerrette (Laurier) of Drummond and Nancy Gagnon (Roger) of Levant, Maine, sister-in-law, Bonnie Michaud (late Gildor) of New Denmark, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gilbert and Gildor.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
His funeral service will be held Monday, February 12th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
