At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, April 17, 2018, Mr. Rene Levesque of Siegas passed away at the age of 81 years. He was the husband of the late Lucille Michaud by first marriage and of the late Rose-Marie Pelletier by second marriage. Born at Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska in 1936, he was a son of the late Jim and Louise (Gagnon) Levesque.
He is survived by 11 children: Claudette (Robert Martin) of Riviere-Verte, Yvette (Daniel Cormier) and Rachel (David Lausier) of Van Buren, Maine, Linda (Dean Madore) of Grand Isle, Maine, Yolande (Daniel Laplante) of Saint-Andre, Jacques of Saint-Leonard, Jacqueline (Jean-Louis Bonenfant) and Paul (Jacinthe) of Drummond, Lise (Ricky Albert) of Grand Falls, Reginald (Jody Bertram) of Drummond and Pierre-Luc (Melissa Corbin) of Wanham, Alberta, several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Yvon of Grand Falls, Charles (Louise) of Saint-Leonard, Robert (Donna) of Saint-Andre, Gaetan, Germain (Lucille), Alec, Alex and Albert, all of Montreal, Leo-James of Fredericton; sisters: Clarina of Portland, Maine, Jeannette and Annette of Connecticut, Rena of Edmundston and Gaetanne (Fernand) of Saint-Andre, several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his children: Real, Yvonne, Nicole, a second Yvonne and Nancy and brother Normand.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Monday, April 23rd from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 24th from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 24th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the St-Leonard-Parent Cemetery.
