Marie Moreau

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 7, 2019, Mrs. Marie Moreau of Grand Falls and formerly of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 87 years.  She was the widow of Ludger Moreau.  Born at Saint-Andre in 1932, she was a daughter of the late Alexis and Helene ''Nellie'' (Lavoie) Page.

Mrs. Moreau was a member of the Saint-Andre Daughters of Isabella.

She is survived by six children, Ginette (Francis Francoeur) of Saint-Andre, Nicole (Richard Lavoie) of Plantagenet, Ontario, Roger (Claudette) of Grand Falls, Line (Gilles Laplante) of Saint-Andre, Yvette Moreau (Rosaire Vaillancourt) of Saint-Andre and Brigitte Moreau of Sherbrooke, Quebec, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren,  one sister, Cecile Morin (late Oneil) of Grand Falls, sister-in-law, Pauline Page of Saint-Andre, as well as nieces and nephews.  

She was predeceased by a grandson, René Moreau, two brothers and one sister,  Joseph Page (late Angele), Gilbert ''Bi'' Page (Pauline) and Therese Paradis (late Thomas). 

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Daughters of Isabella will meet for prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 12th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
