Gary Powers
1960-2012
At his residence, July 7, 2012, Mr. Gary Powers of Edmundston and formerly of Grand Falls, passed away at the age of 51 years. Born at Grand Falls in 1960, he was a son of Stephen Powers and of Germaine Lagacé.
He is survived by two children, Joey and Kim, both of Grand Falls, his mother, Germaine Powers of Saint-André, his father, Stephen Powers (Esther) of Grand Falls, his sisters and brother, Debbie Powers (Gaetan Bernier) of Grand Falls, Wayne Powers (Lily) of Fredericton, Jenny Powers (Gilles Tremblay) of Currie Road and Jacqueline Powers of Grand Falls, several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service was held Wednesday, July 11th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating. The pallbearers were Tony Lajoie, Joey Powers, Gilles Tremblay, Everd Pelletier, Marc Powers and Jeffrey Rossignol. Interment was in the Assumption Cemetery.
